DUNEDIN STOCK REPORT. Messrs Mac Lean & Co. report for tbc week ending 9th Jane as follows:— Fat Cattle.— A moderate supply of 1(50 head were yarded to-day ; about 25 head were stores, the balance being fair to good quality. The demand showed a slight advance on last week's rates, and bidding was more spirited. Bullocks realised from L 6 7s 6d to Ll3 10s ; cows, from L 5 10s to L 8 15s. We sold several small lots at quotations, and quote prime beef at 25s ; ordinary, 19s to 21s per 1001 b. Fat Sheep.— A. moderate supply of 3094 were penned, consisting of 2019 crossbreds and 1075 merinos. The demand wa3 good, and all the lots were disposed of at from 10s to 15s for crossbreds, and 5s fld to 9d (5d for merinos. "We quote prime crossbred mutton, 2M ; ditto merino, 2d per lb. Fat lambs. -About 30 were penned, and realised up to 11s 6d each. Fat Pi?s, —About 90 of all descriptions were forwarded, for which the demand was good, prime porkera realising from sid to s:ifd per lb. Store Cattle.— On Friday last, the 4th instant, resold at our yards, Balclutha, 100 head of good k stores. Forward -conditioned steers, four years A old, realised up to £« 2a 6d ; heiftrj and steers, three years old, £3 5s to £4 2s 6d ; dry cows £3 10s to £3 17s 6d ; springing heiftrs and cows', £6 5s to £7 123 6 1. There is a good demand for three and faur-year-old bullocks fit for turnip ieeding. Wool.— The following cablegram has been received from the Home market, dated 7th June : —"At the wool sales to-day 10,200 bales were offered, m iking a total of 352,800 bales catalogued since the opening. The tone of the sale was flat, and to effect sales lower prices must be accepted." While admitting the somewhat downward tendency of the market, it must not be overlooked that for some descriptions quite extreme prices were lately realised, in fact such as could not be expected to be maintained. -This notably in the case of greasy crossbreds, upon which the decline has been most severely felt. , Sheepskins. — At our usual weekly sale on Monday we catalogued 1100 skins, which re.alised from 3s to 3s 6d for crossbredß, and 2b 9d

to4s 7d for merinos ; dry akin* 4fd to sd '.per 19. Hides.— During the week we have disposed of 5o hides at 20s each. The demand continues good.
