WILL Travel this Season in the East West, and North Taieri, and Maungatua Districts, standing two nights in the fortnight at Mr Samuel Young's, Mosgiel, commencing Tuesday, Bth October ; also one night in the fortnight at Maungatua, commencing 16th October ; and the remainder of the time at Gowrie, West Taieri. YODNG CLYDE is a dark brown, six years old, and has gained the following Prizes : — ln. .1874 he was awarded the Biggar Farmers' Society Prize of 100 soys., and travelled the same district in 1875. He also gained the Silver Medal at Carnwath both years, for the best horse that travelled the Upper Ward of Lanarkshire. At the Glasgow February Show in 1875 he was one of the three drawn for the Champion Cup, and gained second honors at the Highland Society Show same year. In 1876 he was awarded the £100 premium to travel the Eastern District of Kircudbright ; and was also awarded £100 in 1877. PEDIGREE. Young Ci-tde was bred by Mrs Murdoch, Haugbhead, out of her favorite mare ' ' Maggie," which kind was long in her possession, and gained, many prizeß at local and other shows. His sire was that famed horse •'Young Campsie," the property pf David Riddell, which gained the Glasgow Prize in 1868 and 1869, and likrwiae the Highland Society's 1 Prize.
