GORDON IN TROUBLE AGAIN.

Johnßtbne brought Mr Gordon to task; for holding the Fiixf ax School Committee up to public ridicule by •writing a lletter to the * Age' re Templeton's case without fitst con> suiting the Committee. Mr Gordon' then 1 tendered hto resignation, which caused three memben of the Conimittee to side with hiiny and the fourth to stand aloof ; but after the Knight of the Cane had applied: the "usual quantity of soft • soap, he withdrew his resignation. At the ineetltig on Thursday last, Mr Gordon read a minute to^ the - effect that he w»8 right re letter; and Mr- Johnstone wrong to which Mr Jl objected; The Chairman, pro tern, then left the chair, declaring that "of course," he "of course/ would not "of course," be "/of course^ humbugged by Mr J. " of cburkev" If Mr Gordon is allowed to sign himself secretary to any effusion he may think fit to send to the papers without the consent of the Committee, they will never be out of troublei as Mr Gordon has a strong deaire 'to see his name in print. — I am, &c, - Probitas.
