Thursday, 29th June, 1865. (Before E. J. Rich, Esq., J.P., and J. P. Maitland, Esq., R.M.) R. L. Begg v. J. Synomore. Claim for £3 35., for goods sold and delivered. Settled out of court. - - . R. L. Begg v. J. R. Mercer. Claim for goods sold and delivered, £il 14s. 7d. The defendant, after the summons was served, paid £2. Judgment by default for the balance, £9 14s, 7d. R. L. Begg v. R. Livingston, a lias 'Sandy.' Tin's was an action for an assault committed by defendant on plaintiff. . The assaxilt complained of was of such a trivial ' nature that the Bench fined the defendant in the mitigated penalty of 55., and .costs. R. L. Begg v. R. Christie. Claim for £15 for damages to plaintiffs land by trespass of cattle, &c. , belonging to defendant. Plaintiff failed to prove his case. Dismissed with costs.
