Tuesday, 27th June, 1865. (Before J. P. Maitland, Esq., R.M., and F. S. Pillans,Esq., J.P.)~ An Adjourned Hearing. Sarah Rae : application for a renewal of a license for. the Stony Creek Hotel. Sergeant Cobden reported that the requirements of the act had been complied with. License granted. Robert Jopp : application for license for the Newmarket Hotel. Mr. Jones, from Tokomairiro, appeared for applicant. The Bench were strongly of opinion that applicant had not complied with the act, but on the representation oi Mr. Jones the hearing was postponed. - . After Sergeant Cobden had inspected the house and reported, the Bench granted the license. ;
