He was seized with an acute attack of indigestion during a lecture tour, and was taken il! on Monday night i:i the lecture hall and removed to his hotel where -lie recovt red temporarily and was preparing to jro to Kingston to fulfil an engagement when he was ovtrcom'.'. No funeral arrangeimnts will be made until a decisioji has been arrived at by his relatives in Melbourne. Deceased was a son of the novelist, and was many years resident in Australia.
