A Court of Enquiry at Tonga dismissed thi9 charge against A. D. Cameron, president of the Tonga Mai& Kantaba Co-operative Association, of issuing a "faked" balance-sheet, and emibezzliwg the funds. T'lue association has 3000 Tongau 'members, amd was formed for the disposal of copra. T'ho court expressed the opinion that tlie alleged' irregularity did not affect the total of the balance-sheet, and that the evidence of the principal prosecutor showed prejudice and animosity against tine accused. The court also spoke strongly against the manner in which the charges of embezzlement were brought.
