At the Rosehiii meeting : lobrikoff mod the Rawson Stakes, weight-for-age, beating JHoax and Britain.
The New Zealander won by a length, being ridden ont to beat Hoax. Time, 1.53. The Rawson Stakes is run over a mile and a furlong, Bobrikoff's weight being 8.18 and Hoax's 8.11.

MAS'TERTON, This Day. Perfect weather prevails for the second day of the Masterton Racing Club's autumn meeting. The course is in good order. Five bookmakers are licensed inside, and two outside, lie suits :
Hack Hurdles, one mile and a half. —Kelso 1, Pakau 2, Millpond 3. The only starters. Won easily by four lengths. Time 2.51 2-5.
Telephone Hack ,five furlongs.—■ Liza 1, Waiata 2, Te Roti 3. Also started: Naumai. Won by a neck. Time, 1.2 1-5. Handicap Hack Scurry, five furlongs.—Merrie Emerald 1, Gold Top 2, Te Ltuatu 3. Also started: Kalypso, Lady Volley, Leapuku. Won by a length. Time, 1.4. Highweight Hack, one mile.—Waiariki 1, Aotea 2, Golden Butterfly 3. Also started: Canadian. Won by two and a half lengths. Time, 1.48.
WELLINGTON, This Day. The charge against two officials oj the Pony and Galloway Racing Club of trespassing on the Trentham racecourse, was dismissed by the magistrate.
