IMPERIAL CONFERENCE.
STATE PREMIERS' CLAIM TO REPRESEN TATION.
Press Assn—By telegraph—Copyright. r LONDON, March 17. The Australian Agents-General have unanimously,' resolved to suggest to their respective Prenjiers that the various States should each advance a claim for representation at the Imperial Conference, 'with a view to recognition of constitutional rights by the admission of State Premiers or their nominees at the 1911 Conference, so that States may be represented in the discussion of such questions as the appointment of State Governors, immigration/ and other matters upon which the Commonwealth representative has no right to speak for the States. It is the general opinion that the present is the time favorable to again advancing the claim, in view of the harmonious relations between the States and Commonwealth Governments.
