Harry Palmer, Palmerstoin North, reports a moderate entry of pigs, confined principally to weaners, slips and stores', very few porkers offering. We had a, very big entry of poultry of splendid? all-roamd quality, and prices showed a. distinct improvement. There is a scarcity of vegetables such as cabbage, carrots, and parsnips. Potatoes are firm .in price, and there is a good 'demand for sound samples. Onions are now more plentiful, and prices are easier.
