BOWLING.
At the bowling green yesterday, a match for the Cowpcr Feathers was played between the holders and a team of challengers skipped by Farrow. The challengers had the best of the game, but the holders managed to get a. 6 in on one head, and although a draw might have wrested this advantage from them, the challenging skip failed to get there, and the holders retained the trophy. The following are the scores:—Thomson, Johnston, Bai-tlett, Wright (skip), 24; Webber, Carstou, Drunimond, Farrow (skip), 17. Next playing day the holders will be challenged by Messrs Webber, Dobson, Druiiimoiid. and Russell (skip).
