Mr R. Hannah, of Wellington, is in town on business. Miss E. J. Driscoll, postmistress, Havelock North, lias effected a three months' exchange with Miss Constance Seymour, of the ; Government Buildings office, Wellington. Miss Driscoll was formerly stationed at AVeber. Mr Charles AVilson, Parliamentary Librarian, is at present on a visit to Christchurch. : Lord Onslow has been ordered rest and complete change by his doctor, so he lias left for Algiers. Latest advices, from London state that Mr Hall-Jones is .progressing favorably towards recovery, and his doctor assures him that he Will soon be in better condition than he has boon for some years.
