A. AND P. ASSOCIATION.
A meeting of the General Committee- will be held on Friday morning, 21st inst., at 10.30. Much important business has to be transacted, including the appointment of class stewards, various sub-committee, and in fact the arrangements for carrying through the thousand and one details connected with an agricultural show. The invitations to judges have siet with a gratifying response, a number of gentlemen having already written expressing their pleasure in agreeing to act in that capacity. Entries are now beginning to come in, and the secretaries are expecting shoals of them before the present week is out. The sooner they come in the easier it will make it for those who have to do with the providing of necessary pen and yard accommodation. In this direction good progress is being made by a few competent workmen under the direction of Mr Fairhurst. The great interest which is being manifested in all directions in the event leads us to suppose that, if only the fates are kind in regard to weather, there will be an attendance in Dannenvirke on Show Day the like of which has never been seen here before .
