Bartholomew Donnehy, road contractor, who was injured by falling down the face of a cutting at Mangapoike on Thursday last, died in # private hospital, not having recovered consciousness. He leaves a widow: and. five children. Deceased had been working with a rope round him, and when shifting fell over the cliff, a distance of about 50 feet, being struck on the head with a rock.
