Jones, of Waipukurau, and is survived by her husband and eight children, (four sons and four daughters). Tho sons aro the Rev. William Grant, Presbyterian minister at GislK>i;ne, Mr Alex. Grant, of Whangarei, Mr* David Grant, of Norsewood, Mr George Grant, of Greymontli, and the daughters Mrs (Hon.) TX..C. Smith., of Wai■pukurau, Mrs Smaile, ividow of the Rev. Smaile, Presbyterian missionary at Fiji, Mrs E. Coles, of Now Plymouth, and Mrs Alison, of Dannevirke. Tho funeral will take place on Friday.

The social and dance held uzider the auspices of the- local Druids' Lorge, in the .Oddfellows' Hall lastevening, passed off very successfully.
