LONDON, yesterday. Tlie Montreal Star declares that colonials after 'tlie recent review did not desire a baby navy of their own when they knew it is only of problematical use in ■ Imperial defence. The paper suggests that the Motherland build, man. equip, and manage the fleet,' and that Canada guarantee the interest on the sum expended in Canada's name, with favorable terms for Canadian recruits, Canada having the option of taking such ships on payment of their cost.
