NEW ZEALAND'S SHAKE.
, Press Assn —By telegraph —Copyright. i ' LONDON, Yesterday. Lord Crewe, speaking at the Now Zealand' dinner at tlie Trocadero, expressed the Government's profound gratification at New Zealand's 'Increased contribution to the Navy without conditions of any kind. Since then they had had the spontaneous and utterly gratifying offer of a Dreadnought. . He was glad Sir Joseph Ward was able to attend the Conference. Hon. W. Hall-Jones, High Commissioner, said the offer of the Dreadnought had no political significance. It was merely a proof that New Zealand recognised her common interest with Britain. They saw something wanted doing and wished to have a hand in doing it.
