[PRESS ASSOCIATION.] 'NAPIER, to-day; The Supreme Court session opened Avith a comparatively light calendar, only nine prisoners being interested. Tlie most serious case is that- of alleged murder against John Clino and Alice Maud Shepherd in connection with the Woodville tragedy. Mr Justice Chapman congratulated +he district on the marked evidence of decrease in crime. True bills "were returned on the murder charge, and the trial Avas fixed for Tuesday next.
