■♦ ■ [PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON, to-day. In tho oarly part of 1908 a man namcr John Usher was convicted at Auckland on charges of burglary, and was sentenced to five years. He escaped from Waiotapu camp, and no trace could be found, of him in New Zealand, and his finger prints and a description of the man were sent to Scotland yard. Recently, a series of burglaries were committed at Bournemouth, England, and a man was arrested. Comparisons of life finger prints with those sent fron> here pointed to him as Usher, and Detective Cassells has been sent Home for the purpose of identification.
