Subsequently the Governor complied with the request of a deputation to allow himself to bo nominated, but to-day ho withdrew his name. Another candidate has therefore been nominated to oppose Mr Nesbit. (Received this day, 10.15 a.m.) SYDNEY, to-day. The Deputy Grand-master, Bro. Montgomerio • Hamilton, has been elected Grand-master of the Masons, receiving 009 votes to Bro. Nesbit 's 191.
