WELLINGTON, yesterday. ' The Opposition party held an enthusiastic meeting last nightl Mr Fisher (Wellington Central), who was present, announced his intention of Avorking for the party in future. Members expressed themselves as delighted with the result of the debate oh Monday evening. : Mr Hardy (Selwyn) Avas appointed Avhip, and the other appointment ay as deferred.
