NORTH SCHOOL COMMITTEE.

Tho abovo mot hist night. Present: Messrs Webber (chairman). Punch, Frame. Pettit, Head and Eaton. Tho master's report was read, showing the attendance for the week ending May 7th, 328.1; May 14th. 297.4; May 28th, 315.1; Juno 4th. 325.7; average for month. 316.5; number on roll, 364. A list of names showing weak attendance was also enclosed. It \\'a& resolved that the master he asked to forward the names of had attendees to the Board. The visiting members reported that wood had been delivered and cut, a broken pane of glass, blinds in had repair, a few palings off fence, and door steps considerably worn below the floor. —Left to the secretary to have window repaired. Correspondence was received from tho Borough Council, stating that an inspection and report would be forwarded re drainage. The Chairman reported attending tho presentation of medals by MiHill to cadets. The secretary of • ladies' committee of sale of work to be held on Juno ' 30th and July Ist, reported that the - llev. Wesley Griffin was giving a descriptive olimelight entertainment in the Parish Hall on Thursday night next, in aid of the fund. There will * also be vocal and instrumental items, and club swinging, in the programme. —The advertising was left in the hands> of the Chairman.
