STOCK REPORT. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their sale' at Pahiatua on Ist June as follows: We had a good yardimg of sheep and a fair yarding of •cattle. The demand for sheep at auction was not as keen as it was the previous week, but we ultimately disposed of the bulk of those yarded at satisfactory prices. We experienced a good sale for all classes of cattle, especially for young cattle ; good springing cows and heifers and beef cows also sold exceptionally well. We quote: Two and fourtooth wethers, 10s sd, 10s 6d,.10s 7d and 10s 8d; fat ewes, 11s "6d; f.m. ewea in lamb, 8s 6d, 8s 7d, 8s 9d; store ewes, 5s 7d ; shorn lambs, 7s 3d to 7s lOd; small lambs, 5s 6d. Heavy fat cows, £4 14s; lighter fat cows, £3 16s to £4 Is; store cows, £1 12s to £2 ss; guaranteed springing cow-si £5 12s 6d to £6 2s 6d; cows in calf, £2 to £2 15s; springing heifers, £4 Is to £5 10s; 18-month heifers, £1 11s; 2-year steers, £3 3s; '18-month steers, ,£2 3s 6d to £2 6s; weaners, 19s; Shetland pony, £9 9s; hack, £5 15s.
