VOTING AT MASTERTON.
There was a small record of votes at the Masterton polling booth at the Courthouse, at which Mr NormanH. James acted as deputy-returning officer. Only 74. votes Avere recorded, the poll closing at four o'clock in the' afternoon. . Mr Tai Te Tan acted as scrutineer on behalf of Mr Ngata, Mr Park Tiki Poaka being unrepresented.
. The polling at Tahoraite was as follows: Ngata, 66; Tiki Paaka; 8. ' Mr A. E. Green was the returning officer.
