[press association.] . < NELSON, last night. ■ In' connection -with' the Baptist Conference, to-day was devoted to the Missionary Society of the church. Last year's revenue of the society amounted to £2060, leaving a credit balance of £180. A £500 gift was announced as a memorial to a departed daughter.
