TURKEY AND THE CONFERENCE.
LONDON, yesterday
lleuter-'s Constantinople agent reports that Tewfik Pasha informed the editor of the newspaper Tanin that Turkey 'desired a conference to consider the independence of Bulgaria and the Austrian annexation of Bos-,. nia-Hergoviria, the Ottoman public debt and the integrity of the Ottoman, Empire. Turkey excluded the question of Crete.
Tewfik Pasha added that the retrocession of Novibazar was conditional on neither Servia nor Montenegro obtaining territorial compensation there. Austria guaranteed Turkey's possession of Novibazar.
