STEAMER MAKURA.

DUNEDIN, yesterday. The Union Company have received cable advice that the new steamer Makur a arrived at Capetown on Wednesday morning, having had a good passage out. She left Cape Town the same evening for Durban, where more passengers will be embarked for ■Australia and New Zealand. On sailing from Cape Town, the Makura was a full ship, every berth having been allotted. She is due in Melbourne on November 2nd.
