"THE GUV'NOR."
•On Tuesday. evening next, the Wellington Dramatic Club will appear at the Drill Hall in A. K. Lankesteer^a famous three act comedy, "The Qnv nor." The pres -notices of the dab's performances in Wellington are most flattering. Speaking of "The Gur'nor" the Evening Post of July 15th says: "The performance was a tttccess, "the critical situations srere well worked out, and the audie&ce was kept in a ripple of unbroken merriment from first to last." The cast of characters includes: Mr S. A. Clayton as the deaf boat builder; Mr Norman Aitken as Mr Butterscotch (a retired confectioner) ; Miss Lena. Lennox as Carrie Macclesfield; If its Ivy Scott as Aureliceßuttersootbhi supported by a powerful cast of t« performers. Seats may now fee booked at Bartlett's.
