There is a less demand for frozen beef, but prices are a shade firmer. Wo quote New Zealand prime crossbred lamb, Canterbury, heavy and light, oijd per lb, North Island hoavy and light o^d per lb ; Canterbury mutton, heavy, 4Jd per II) ; light, 43d per lb ; North Island mutton, heavy 3ijd per lb, light 4gd petto. New Zealand prime ox beef, fores 3gd per lb; hinds, -Id per lb.
