Fresh Outbreaks.

Sydney, January 5. Fresh outbreaks of bush fires are reported from Hill Grove, where they are spreading extensively. At Bega the Milliner family took refuge in a waterhole, but the debris floating on the surface of the water so badly burned them that Milliner and one child succumbed to their wounds. A large area of the surrounding districts is devastated and many farmers have lost everything. Numbers of stock, which with people crowded into the dams and waterholes, were Boasted alive. Singleton reports that a vast area was swept and scores of settlers lost all their grass and crops. Some houses aud many animals were burned. There were also many numerous narrow escapes.
