A SOLICITOR IN AN AWKWARD POSITION.
(per pkess association.) Wellington, This day. When a civil case was called on before the 11 M. this morning the latter said he had received a very important letter from a Wairarapa solicitor submitting that ho should send the cass for trial to the local court. Mr Martin said lit had not the power of a Judge to commit the writer for contempt, but should hand the letter over to the law society to deal with.
