AN ACKNOWLEDGEMENT.
; .(To The Editok,) Sir, — I have recently left the Waipukurau.Hospital, and with your kind permission I would like to mark my sense of the obligation I am under to Doctors Reed and Godfrey, to wjiose skill and kindness I most undoubtedly owe my life. They were ably assisted by the Matron, Mrs Putma'n, who Was unremitting in her attentions to myself and the other patients, and many hours that would otherwise have been lonely were brightened by her cheery, presence. Mr W. C. Smith was very kind also, visiting us very often and helping us where opportunity occurred. Thanking you for your kindness, I am, etc., Edward Humphreys. . Makotuku.,
