GIRL ENGINEERS
AMY JOHNSON MEMORIAL A scholarship in aeronautical engineering is to be awarded annually to a girl in memory of Amy Johnson. The Society of British Aircraft Constructors will make the award on exactly the same terms as to boy apprentices, and promising girls will now be enabled to qualify for the highest appointments in the aircraft industry. The Women's Engineering Society will be associated with the S.B.A.C. in the selection of the candidates.
