KINDERGARTEN NEWS UNEXPECTED REA PPEARANCE Special to Auckland Star PALMERSTON N., this day. One of the features of the Otaki meeting this week should be the reapparance of Kindergarten, who is booked to stage a working gallop between the races. Kindergarten has been off the scene since he went amiss following his success in the Hazlett Gold Cup in January, and it had been reported that his turf career had finished when L. J. Ellis returned him to his owner at Gisborne. However, the Kincardine horse has been entered for the Harcourt Stakes at Trentham on Labour Day, and, as he has won the last three contests for this race, it is to be hoped that he will survive a prepara-, tion.
