D. E. COTTON'S TEAM
The Te Rapa trainer, D. Cotton, has some promising talent coming along. The name Pacemaker has been selected for the Foxbridge—Merry Thought Colt which he is preparing for the Hamilton sportsman and breeder. Mr. N. H. Hooker. This youngster has nil the hallmarks of quality, and special interest will attach to his progress. Desoite the fact that he is a late foal he has developed Into a fine, upstanding tyne of thoroughbred, whose general conformation suggests he may be seen to early advantage with the colours up. Cotton is also preparing 'for the same owner,, the rising three-j'ear-old Alna.ia. a gelding by Ringmaster from a Motlev mare, the rising four-year-old Royal Charter and a rising three-year-old filly by Battle Song. Other rising two-year-olds In the stable are a colt by Plato from Armndtlla, a Medieval Knight filly and a filly by Orello from Cowl.
