SWIFT QUARRY IN WORK
That useful money-spinner. Swift Quarry, has been brought into work again at Te Rapa, and while he is carrying some surplus condition he looks in the right order to enter on a further preparation. The Foxbridge gelding started on eight occasions during the current term for four wins and three seconds, and in addition to the £2295 he collected In stake money the stable experienced some remunerative visits to the back of the totalisator.
The best performances of Swift Quarry were his convincing success in the Franklin Cup in March, and his secontls to Sleepy Fox in the Easter Handicap and Constitution in the Foley Memorial at the Avondale meeting in April.
