CHANGE IN DECISION URGED
Parliamentary Reporter. WELLINGTON, this day. A notice of a question by Mr. A. S. Sutherland (Nat, Hauraki) in the . House of Representatives this morning asked the' Minister of Supply, Mr. Sullivan, whether, in view of the grave shortage of food in Europe, he would reconsider his decision that further available surplus supplies of biscuits be disposed of for stock and poultrv food. Mr. Sutherland said that at a meeting of the Auckland Master Grocers . Association on Tuesday it was stated that some, of the biscuits sold to farmers, and in the original sealed tins, were in excellent condition, and that some of the biscuits had been purchased by one firm for inclusion in sausage meat. It was also stated at the meeting that it was some three months since the decision to discard the biscuits was made, and yet they were still in good condition.
