THREE INJURED
TRUCK AND CAR COLLIDE • When a light car and a motor truck were involved in a collision on the Paerata Road just north of the Paerata Hall about 6.20 last night, three servicemen were injured. Flight-Lieutenant Maurice N. Cronin, aged 25, of Pukekohe West, the driver of the car, suffered concussion and lacerations and was admitted to the Green Lane Hospital, where his condition to-day was satisfactory. Two passengers, Private Lindsay William Kidd and McGregor Noel Hirst, were also injured. Private Kidd's condition at the Auckland Hospital to-day was fair. Private Hirst was taken to the Papakura Military Camp Hospital, but his condition is not serious.
