, CENTENARIAN BROTHERS ONE DIES AT 107 YEARS 0 O.C. TE AWAMUTU, Thursday. What is believed to be a world record so far as family longevity is concerned has been brought to notice by the death of Mr. Hori Matine at the age of 107 years, A brother, aged 102 years, is still living. Mr. Hori Matine came to the Korakonui district before the Maori War, and was engaged at farm work. He was highly esteemed by both Maoris and pakehas.
