THEFT DENIED
SEAMAN FQR TRIAL Charged with the theft on June 1 of five pairs of binoculars, valued at £252, the property of the United States Government, Noel Francis iPhillips (28), seaman and salesman, aopeared before Mr. F. H. Levien, S.M., in the Police Court yesterday. " Accused, who' was represented by Mr/'A. K. Turner, pleaded not guilty and was committed to the Supreme Court for trial'. Bail, in accused's own recognisance of £150, was renewed.
