GROCERS' PROTEST
BISCUITS FOK PIG FOOD
The action of the Government in permitting hundreds of tons of biscuits originally made for service purposes to be used for pig food was criticised at a meeting of the executive of the Auckland Master Grocers' Association last evening. Some packets of the biscuits sent to farmers were produced, and several of the grocers said that they were better than some they had for sale. The opinion was expressed that the use of the biscuits as stock food was not justified.
