LIGHT SNOW IN MANAWATU
O.C. PALMERSTON N., this day. The Palmerston North' district in the past three days has experienced 1.79 inches of rain, or 34 points more than the fall in the whole- of last month. Conditions are very bleak. Light snow lies on the Kahuterawa Hills, a few miles from the city.
