FROSTS AT WHANGAREI LOW JUNE RAINFALL. O.C. WHANGAREI, this day. Rainfall of 2.6 inches this month Jwas the lowest ever recorded in Whangarei in June and compared with the average of 7.8 inches. There were 14 consecutive frosts, the longest cold spell since records have been taken.
