DARGAVILLE INVESTIGATION O.C. DARGAVILLE. this day. The chairman of the Auckland Education Board, Mr. G. K. : Hamilton, with the senior inspector, Mr. H McChesney, and ward members, Messrs. J. H. Smith and D. McCarroll, visited Dargaville and investigated the questions of additional classrooms at the primary and secondary departments, the acquisition of additional playgrounds in Tirarau Street adjoining the existing primary department, and the appointment of directors for the community centre which has been authorised by the Education Department. On leaving Dargaville they visited the Ruawai and Wellsford schools.
