JAP'S VAIN DIVES
Mr. Minoru Komatsu, a Japanese who has lived in England for many years, and his 20-year-old daughter Minnie, dived repeatedly into a large emergency water tank in Canton Street, Poplar,. E., in a vain attempt to rescue two boys. The parents of the boys, Harry McDonald and Peter Whittaker, and a crowd neighbours, watched the rescue efforts.
