"Throughout the year Import restrictions have continued practically unaltered, but with the cessation of the war in Europe some improvement is now expected and it is hoped goods will be available from England which will assist in keeping the factory busy and provide some rclicr to the public from the severe shortage of articles of everyday use," said Mr. H. M. Rogerson. chairman, at the annual meeting to-day of Walker and Hall (N.Z.), Ltd. "The company's factory has been kept busy during the yiar mainly on repairs and the manpower difficulty has been ever-present. Here again the directors hope lor some relief during the present year." The accounts, a summary of which was puollshed on June 23, were adopted, and Mr. Rogerson. who was the retiring director, was re-elected.
