FOG SIGNAL SYSTEM
EQUIPMENT FOR FERRIES
Negotiations with the Auckland Harbour Board have resulted in the Devonport Steam Ferry Company now being assured of fog signals throughout the ferry circuit. The equipment is in course of manufacture and it is expected that it will be installed shortly, thereby adding to the safety of navigation of the company's ships. Information to this effect was given shareholders by the chairman, Sir Ernest Davis, at the annual meeting of the ferry company to-day.
