COAL RESERVES GONE
FERRY COMPANY'S PROBLEM
"The shareholders have heard enough lately on the question of coal difficulties to appreciate the troubles the company has had in maintaining existing time-table services,"' said Sir Ernest Davis, chairman, at the annual meeting to-day of the Devonport Steam Ferry Company, Limited. "Already the coal reserves, prudently built up, have been exhausted, and the ships are being kept running only on such daily supplies as become available."
