Further Disclosures Concerning King Leopold FRICTION OVER RETURN Recall:a.m. LONDON, June 22. "If King Leopold returns more damaging disclosures will be made concerning him," says the Socialist newspaper Le Peuple. The paper adds: "We so far have only just opened his dossier. If the new Government is formed we are engaging in war" to the knife." Reuters Brussels correspondent says Le Peuple's attack is intended to coonter the Catholic Conservatives' bid for power. The British United Press Brussels correspondent ■ states that King Leopold's second attempt to form a Government and pave the way for his return failed with the refusal of the Liberal leader, M. van der Meersch, to accept the task. M. van der Meersch,. however, to-day flew to Salzburg, where King Leopold will probably ask hinr to reconsider his decision.
