NO RIGHT TO HOUSE
MAN ORDERED TO LEAVE O.C. HAMILTON, this day. The Fair Rents Act did not apply, said Mr. S. L. Paterson, S.M., in giving a decision to-day in a claim for possession heard a week ago. Norman Archie Flower had been given the use of a house while he was in the employ of the New Zealand Cooperative Dairy Company as manager of a pig farm at Frankton. The company sought possession now that Flower was no longer in its employ.
The magistrate said that as Flower held the house as a servant he was bound to vacate it when his employment ended. Flower had no right to occupy the house and was, in fact, a trespasser. An order was made for possession within 14 days.
